Ugandan International striker Edrisa Lubega has joined Austrian first league side Floridsdorfer Athletiksport Club on a six month loan.

According to his Pro-line manager Mujib Kasule, Lubega will be joining Floridsdorfer Athletiksport Club for the next six months, with a chance of securing a permanent deal if his performance is impressive in the league.

Lubega joined Proline FC last season during the 2015/16 FUFA big league where he was the top-scorer with 18 goals in the regular season.

He was also brilliant in the playoffs scoring three and three to help them clinch the third promotional spot to the elite league.

Lubega becomes the second Ugandan player to feature in Austria after former national captain Ibrahim Sekajja, who played for Austrian champions Red Bulls Salzburg from 2007 until he moved to the U.S a few years back.
